Sister Wives viewers have watched the way most of the Brown kids have always been distant from Meri and Robyn. Well, when it comes to Meri, Mykelti revealed that the Brown children don’t get along with her because of the way she had treated them when they were younger. Though Meri had tried to apologize for her past behavior, they don’t get along.

Mykelti explained how Meri used to follow the “classic” pattern of saying “love you” and “sorry.” The latter even promised the girls that they would treat them better. However, Mykelti believes that Meri has a cycle where she gets mad and things revert to the way they were, as if they had never been better. She added, “I think that’s the reason why most of my siblings choose not to have a very big relationship with her.”

Sister Wives star Mykelti recently appeared on the Pop Psych podcast with David and Allison. The latter straight away asked her about her hatred towards Meri. Mykelti was initially hesitant, but she openly admitted that Meri was “not a very good parent” at all. She explained that Meri wasn’t a very good mother and wasn’t much fun to be around.

Mykelti added, “Meri’s personality is very hard. She has a very aggressive personality.” She explained how Meri wasn’t “physically” aggressive, but she used to be authoritative. The celeb claimed that for Meri, “age” and “capabilities” didn’t really matter for her at all. Mykelti told the hosts, “It doesn’t matter when she asks, you go in and you get it done. If you complain, you get in big trouble.” She recalled how if someone didn’t do as per Meri’s specifications, they would end up getting in “big trouble.”

Mykelti said, “If you have questions about how to do it better, you get in trouble. If you didn’t do it in a timely manner, you get in trouble.” She recalled how Meri used to be “very, very hard” and “very strict.” The celeb claimed that she, Meri, used to be picked on a lot more than other kids, and she didn’t even know the reason why it was like that!
