Teen Mom 2: Chelsea Houska First Time Breaks Her Silence On Quitting The Show

Chelsea Houska is bidding goodbye to her MTV show, Teen Mom 2. After spending years doing 16 & Pregnant and then Teen Mom 2, she is going. Around two weeks ago, we reported that Chelsea would be leaving the show. However, it is only now that she has made an official statement. In a rather poignant note, she looked back on her journey with ten eventful seasons. Let’s have a look.

MTV’s Teen Mom 2 has been a big part of my life for almost 11 years. After much thought and discussion with my family and friends, Cole and I have decided that this season will be our last. We are forever thankful to MTV and our crew, who are like family to us. We’re parting on the best of terms and will stay in touch long after this. We’re proud to have been able to share our story and are so grateful to the fans who have followed our journey from the beginning. Our next chapter in life will focus on developing our brand and taking things to the next level with new endeavors and expanding family businesses. Please tune into our last moments on the show and continue to follow along our journey on social media. Chelsea shared a social media post featuring her family – Cole, daughters Aubree and Layne, and son Watson. In the heartfelt caption, she opened her heart while reflecting on her journey doing the reality show. She began by saying that MTV has been a big part of her life for around 11 long years. However, she added, after deliberating with their friends and family, Chelsea and Cole decide to quit the show. Although they are parting, Chelsea noted that they are leaving on good terms with the network and crew. With that being said, they” stay in touch with them.

Chelsea Is Grateful For Doing Teen Mom 2

Chelsea continued by expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to do this show. She said that she’s grateful for being able to tell her story to the world. However, now the couple is looking forward to newer avenues in life. Houska explained her plan of building upon their brand and further developing their family businesses. Towards the end, she urged her fans to catch their last time on the show. She also asked them to be a part of her exciting phase ahead.

Chelsea Looks Forward To New Things In Life

The fans might recall that two weeks ago, Houska’s father, Randy, confirmed her leaving the show. He tweeted the news saying that it’s a wrap for the children! He further added that the show saw the family growing and expanding its horizons. Now, the family is all set to see people on the ‘flip side.’ After Chelsea’s official statement, MTV wished her all the best. The official Instagram page of Teen Mom shared a statement. It summarized Chelsea’s journey from a young mother to marrying Cole and then turning into an entrepreneur. Clearly, the fans have seen the mom of three growing and look up to her for inspiration.

Chelsea is currently expecting her fourth child, her third with Cole. The couple is very excited to welcome their baby girl (yes, it’s a girl!). Just the past month, they celebrated four years of their togetherness. In a lovely post, Chelsea wished a happy anniversary to Cole and wrote that she is proud to be his wife.
