Teen Mom 2 Star Leah Messer Talks About Being Sexually Abused By Her Babysitter
The reality TV star opened up about her troubled childhood in March when she came live. Leah described sexual abuse as the hardest part of her childhood. When she was five or six years old a teenager was her babysitter. Leah thought that she was the coolest person. However, she was inappropriate with her.
However, Leah didn’t have the courage to stop that kind of behavior as she was afraid of losing her. She thought that if she stopped her babysitter, she would stop hanging out with her. But Leah admitted to feeling uncomfortable and weird. She used to kiss Leah on the neck when her mom wasn’t in the room and touched her like she shouldn’t have.
Leah wasn’t aware of what she was doing but she always felt that something was wrong. The abuse didn’t stop until her family moved to North Carolina. Leah never told anyone about this before because she was ashamed. A part of her thought that she was doing something wrong. Leah’s self-esteem also took a big hit when she had to move around a lot while completing high school.

At one point, the Teen Mom 2 star felt so suffocated and pressured by life, she tried to drive off a cliff. At the time, she learned that her daughter was suffering from muscular dystrophy. Moreover, she was dealing with her second marriage breaking down.
At the time she felt that it would be so easy to drive off the cliff. However, moments later, the thought of her kids came to her mind and she broke down into tears. The reality TV star was also battling drug addiction. Moreover, the footage got caught into TLC cameras. At that point, she knew that things weren’t okay. She had drifted from anxious, depressed, and finally suicidal.

Leah took Diazepam for her anxiety and it really blacked her out. Sometimes, while filming, the reality TV star used to fall asleep mid-sentence. But when the producers saw footage of Leah trying to commit suicide.
