MTV’s Teen Mom, The Challenge, etc, casts announced a reality-themed cruise trip with Showroom Travel earlier this year. Therefore, fans eagerly awaited the post-game cruise trips. However, the trip fell apart after the casts of the various shows accused Showroom Travel of fraudulent practices. Various cast members of the shows mentioned above came forward, issuing official statements about the cancelation.
They addressed fans in those statements, expressing their dismay at the cancelation of the event. Furthermore, they informed the fans of the pretenses and fraudulent practices the travel company upheld. Showroom Travel has announced a line of cruises themed after several reality TV shows. The reality TV themes to be hosted this year were namely ‘Teen Mom,’ ‘The Challenge,’ and ‘Below Deck.’

Showroom Travel canceled their most-anticipated reality TV-themed cruises, featuring Teen Mom stars. The fandom is swarming the online forums with outrage. “I am so upset, we bought this over a year ago,” one comment read. “Mike Gibson needs to be stopped!” Another slammed the travel agency CEO. “Way to take a stand,” another praised. The casts have been predictably apologizing to their fans.
“Bummed but love you all nonetheless,” an understanding fan wrote. Some fans also expressed hostility towards the cast members. “Very sad, we were really looking forward to this,” another fan wrote. Mostly, fans were understanding and directed their anger at the travel company. While a handful made trouble for the stars in their comment sections, some were empathetic. “People pay to meet these people, lol,” another mocked the celebs.
Showroom Travel canceled ‘Teen Mom’, ‘The Challenge ‘, and ‘Below Deck’ themed cruises. The casts notably issued official statements accusing Showroom Travel of fraud. The stars additionally claimed that the travel agency sold the cruises under pretenses, committing acts that were ‘potentially criminal.’ The organizers of the cruise, apparently, “failed to uphold their obligations.”

The reality TV stars claimed the company didn’t adhere to the clauses they settled on. The company apparently didn’t pay the stars accordingly. One star even informed that he would pursue legal actions for misusing their names for fraudulent representations. “This is such an unfortunate and painful outcome for everyone involved, and we’re so deeply sorry,” another star wrote.
The casts also urged fans to explore their reservations and the booking process legally. “We are absolutely heartbroken and deeply embarrassed to share this,” one star wrote, urging fans to report their booking transactions as fraud. “After learning what happened to ‘The Challenge’ cast, we were just as shocked, devastated,” Floribama Shores’ Nilsa shared. The celebrities are also advising fans to report any suspicious bookings to the authorities as potentially fraudulent.
Following the stars’ official statements, Showroom Travel issued a statement of its own. At the same time, the company CEO publicly confessed to committing malpractices. “Sadly, I bit off more than I can chew,” Mike Gibson, the company CEO, wrote. “Your disputes will be approved immediately….will reissue payment back to your original payment method within 5-7 business days,” Mike added.
