Kailyn recently shared a series of photos and videos on her Instagram account. She posted bits and pieces of her surgery and explained how she is feeling after it. A few months back, Kailyn warned all her fans not to go overboard with surgeries, as one side of it is body dysmorphia. The reality TV star explained how she wishes her children would not go through the same mental trauma. She admitted recovery from surgeries is tough.

Former Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry revealed that she was preparing for neck surgery. She shared Instagram photos of her visit to facial plastic surgeon Dr. Tina Ho. The images showed markings on her face, and her 15-year-old son Isaac joked that it looked “crazy.” To this, Lowry replied, “I am crazy.”

On her Coffee Convos podcast with Lindsie Chrisley on August 12, she admitted she planned to get her “neck chopped off” in two weeks. She looked forward to a snatched jawline. She joked that her double chin appeared from certain angles and even mentioned her doctor’s warning that the skin might return in 20 years. Despite caring for six children, she made time for self-care while facing mixed fan reactions.

Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry previously shared with her fans that she would undergo surgery to remove her double chin. On Sunday, August 24, she posted on social media, captioning it, “A scrapbook of saying goodbye to my double chin.” The reality TV star finally got rid of the excess skin around her jaw area. She uploaded a series of photos, videos, and even behind-the-scenes insights from the operating room, where a physician mapped her face.

The surgeon drew lines around her cheeks, forehead, and chin to mark where they would remove the fat and sculpt her face. After the surgery, Kailyn also shared a clip of herself healing in the hospital room. She ate microwaveable mashed potatoes from a container while her entire face was taped up.

Kailyn also joked that even if there was a fire, she couldn’t run because of her condition. She laughed while adding that she had been told she looked like a Q-Tip. Kailyn previously explained that her double chin was a result of genetics, and it wasn’t fat but extra skin around her jaw area. The doctors also told her that in about 20 years, the extra skin might come back again.

Towards the end of the carousel, Kailyn also shared a close-up selfie of her smiling without bandages. She looked unrecognizable and a lot different from before the surgery.
