Mackenzie McKee shared a photo with her father on Instagram. In the caption, she wrote that it’s been a long morning, adding that her father would be having quadruple bypass surgery the next day. She further noted that her father is a ‘tough cookie’ and apparently, has been through a lot this year. Just the last week, Mackenzie shared the news of her father’s upcoming surgery procedure with her Snapchat fans.
The fans were wondering as to why she is still staying in Oklahoma. The teen mom cleared that she stayed back for the surgery and would ensure that her father gets back home safe and sound. The mom of three revealed that her sister lives with her father. However, she would still take care of him until he is okay.

Just a few months ago, McKee lost her mother. Her father’s surgery came a few months later. The reality star lost her mother, Angie Douthit, in December to a lengthy battle with cancer. One of the MTV show episodes featured McKee’s tryst with depression after her mother’s demise. She opened up on the show about experiencing grief and suicidal thoughts. Following her mother’s passing away, Mackenzie accused her husband, Josh of cheating on her with her cousin Ashley. However, she later stepped back and apologized for her hasty conclusion.
