Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry has been through a lot in her life. She does not have a cordial relationship with her parents, as both of them were absent from her life. However, she is now conflicted because her estranged father, Raymond Lowry, is in the hospital in hospice care. During her Karma and Chaos podcast, she told her audience that she has a small update for anyone who cares. She dropped the bomb that she will soon be joining the “dead dad’s club.”

On Tuesday’s episode, the Teen Mom alum revealed that her father, Raymond, has COPD and is currently in stage four. Her aunt shared the news with her, and since then, she has been dealing with conflicting emotions. Her father suffers from a lung condition, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. This condition damages his lungs day by day and inflames his airways, which limits airflow. Kail feels conflicted and experiences a layered emotional struggle due to her strained relationship with her father. However, she also plans to visit him soon.

In her recent podcast, Kailyn Lowry shared that she’s thinking about reaching out to her mother, Suzi, to let her know about Raymond’s condition. Kailyn has been estranged from her mom for years, and they don’t speak at all. Her relationships with both parents have been distant and complicated.

Fans might remember her emotional reunion with her father on 16 and Pregnant. At first, she felt excited to meet him, but the moment quickly turned disappointing. She realized they had nothing in common, and he didn’t seem willing to show up for her in the future like she had hoped.

Kailyn Lowry, during her podcast, shared that she got the news of her father Raymond’s health in the weirdest way. She received a message from her dad’s sister about a completely unrelated issue. As they continued talking, her aunt dropped the bomb on her. Her aunt told her, “Just an FYI, your father has stage IV COPD. He’s in hospice.” Kailyn felt shocked for a moment and could not understand how to react.

She elaborated on the situation, explaining that it’s obviously very layered. Although she never had a relationship with him, she still seeks answers. For four years, she has been searching for answers, and he is the only one who can provide her with an explanation. Kailyn further revealed that in 2019, she tried to reconnect and repair her relationship with her father, but the effort didn’t work out.

She wants to know why he didn’t try harder to have a relationship with her. She feels like he doesn’t get to die without answering all her questions. Kailyn wants to know why he gave up, and why he didn’t just do it to her, but to her sister as well. He owes both of them an explanation.

Kailyn further added that because of him, she couldn’t meet her half-siblings from the Philippines, and she feels mad about it.
