Meanwhile, there’s no official news about reviving ‘The Next Chapter’ for Season 3.
MTV’s silence has sparked frenzy among fans. Moreover, one Teen Mom alumna also claimed MTV canceled the popular show because she quit. It is none other than our “sofa specialist,” Amber Portwood, who contended that the channel canceled the show because she exited. She resigned from it in the last season following an estrangement from her daughter, Leah.

The Teen Mom stars are quite active on their social media, living their own individual lives without any mention of Season 3. She also once threatened to get the show canceled because of the injustice she faced. Moreover, the couch surfer has been mocking her co-stars, claiming she’s the reason that they’re unemployed. She has been consistently slamming and mocking her co-stars on her TikTok live rants. Meanwhile, fans swiftly called her out for her deluded mindset. However, MTV’s indecisiveness raised doubts about whether Amber was true.

During a YouTube live, the MTV star shared some insights into the future of the show. “We should hear something soon,” she updated fans.

She additionally informed that the network hasn’t even updated the cast about the possibility of Season 3. However, she did confirm that the network has undergone significant restructuring following their recent layoffs. Furthermore, the Teen Mom alumna also added that luckily, two high executives of Teen Mom are still in the picture. She assured fans that having the executives in the picture is an advantage.
MTV has recently undergone analytical restructuring. According to the sources, the network is aiming to “feature a more curated slate.” They are apparently working towards the goal to “reimagine.” The whole network has its vibe. However, there are rising concerns about a change in brand value. The network might even lose its target audience, as its recent cancellations have already disappointed its loyal fanbase.
“They’re figuring out what costs too much money to make and what doesn’t. What makes them the most [money], you know what I mean?” Lowell said. “They don’t have to give any of us ‘Teen Mom’ people an answer until, like, May,” she told. That’s around the time of their contract renewals. Furthermore, the MTV star also denied Amber Portwood’s ‘cancellation’ claims. “She’s not the one paying the bigwigs that ran our show who are still there getting paid,” she said.
