MTV’s Teen Mom, The Challenge, etc, cast members announced a reality-themed cruise trip with Showroom Travel earlier this year. Therefore, fans eagerly awaited the post-game cruise trips. However, the trip fell apart after the casts of the different shows accused Showroom Travel of fraudulent practices. Various cast members of the shows came forward, issuing official statements about the cancelation.
Johnny Bananas’ investigation into this matter revealed grave discrepancies. The cast members addressed fans in their official statements, expressing their dismay at the cancelation of the event. Furthermore, they informed the fans of the pretenses and fraudulent practices the travel company upheld. The Cook County Sheriff’s Department in Georgia has officially launched an investigation into this matter.

Showroom Travel canceled their most-anticipated reality TV-themed cruises featuring Teen Mom stars. If Johnny Bananas’ revelation of the events being scams and fraudulent, the Teen Mom stars also followed suit, canceling their event. The fandom is swarming the online forums with outrage. “I am so upset, we bought this over a year ago,” one comment read. “Way to take a stand,” another praised.
“Mike Gibson needs to be stopped!” Another slammed the travel agency CEO. The cast members of the various reality TV shows have been consistently apologizing for these dishonorable circumstances. Mostly, fans were understanding and directed their anger at the travel company. However, some fans also expressed hostility towards the cast members. “People pay to meet these people, lol,” another mocked the celebs.
Showroom Travel canceled ‘Teen Mom’, ‘The Challenge ‘, and ‘Below Deck’ themed cruises. The casts notably issued official statements accusing Showroom Travel of fraudulent practices. The organizers of the cruise, apparently, “failed to uphold their obligations.” Teen Mom alumna Jade Cline also expressed her frustrations on this matter and apologized to her fans. “This is horrible and completely ridiculous,” she said.

“It’s so predatory to use people in their likeness to commit any type of fraud,” she further wrote. The other cast members have urged fans to explore their reservations and the booking process legally. They have additionally advised fans to report any suspicious bookings to the authorities as potentially fraudulent. At the same time, the company CEO publicly confessed to committing malpractices. “Sadly, I bit off more than I can chew,” Mike Gibson, the company CEO, wrote.
Despite his heinous malpractices, he has assured fans that he’ll refund the payments made for the bookings. “Your disputes will be approved immediately….will reissue payment back to your original payment method within 5-7 business days,” Mike added. Furthermore, ‘The Challenge’ star, Johnny Bananas, shared details about how he came to discover this atrocious scam.
He shared that Mike ‘ghosted’ them the week before their cruise and wouldn’t pay the cast regardless of the set contracts. The star eventually also came across another reality star who had previously done a themed cruise with the agency. He learned about the discrepancies from that star. “There was just insurmountable evidence that this guy was very shady to say the least,” Johnny shared.
