The big word is out that Denise Richards is leaving Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. A representative confirmed that she would not return for the new season. The show’s ratings flared up due to drama around Richards in season 10, so much so that it remained the top-rated cable show on Wednesday nights this year. One of the RHOBH members, Brandi Glanville, claimed on camera that she’d had a one-night-stand with the married Richards. This divided the show’s fandom. Let’s take a dig.

Glanville revealed that she hooked up with Richards and that has already created good noise. Some fans are surprised at her thirsty insistence on spilling Richards’ business on camera. In addition to this, other cast members have accused Richards of trying in her second season of the show to control her image. After all, she has been free-wheeling about her sex life with her husband last year.

As for the show, it has allegedly broken down the fourth wall between production and the narrative. Previously, there used to be a trick the cast would use when they didn’t want something to be aired. They were to say, “Bravo Bravo Bravo.” However, that did not work for Richards when she tried to employ the tactic. After Richards was confronted with Glanville’s allegations repeatedly during a trip to Rome with the cast, she walked out of a restaurant on the final night. But she was then shown being talked by a producer into going back in so they could achieve some kind of closure.

In the finale episode, Richards and her longtime friend Lisa Rinna had a showdown. Rinna asked Richards to send Glanville and Bravo a cease-and-desist and that was met with the latter’s icy stare. Anyway, Richards, who is married to Aaron Phypers, has denied the allegations of having an affair with Brandi. She has also made it clear that she is 100 % monogamous to her husband.
