Another thing fans worry about is the impact of the pandemic on the filming schedule of TLC. Moreover, travel restrictions can directly impact the filming of shows outside America. However, the president of TLC has mentioned that they have enough content for viewers till 2021. Moreover, he highlighted the innovative idea of filming a spinoff during the pandemic, that is, 90 Day Fiance: Self Quarantine.
90 Day Fiance: TLC Isn’t Making Spinoffs Just For The Sake of It
Lee makes it clear that they are not making spinoffs just for the sake of it. They ensure not to cross past the tipping point. They consider themselves fortunate as fans keep wanting for more because of compelling storylines.
Lee also pointed out that the appearance of the contestants doesn’t matter to them. All they want is real stories even if they’re devoid of glamor. But they do focus on compelling casting and a story that can get people hooked.
Given the history of success TLC has had with reality shows, it’s not a surprise that they are planning more. 90 Day Fiance has always been based on the ‘dating with twists’ theme. It’s about couples crossing borders for each other. At the same time, they’re facing challenges such as language barriers, cultural shocks, and so much more.
