TLC is on a roll with its releases this festive season. The network just announced its hottest feature of the season. Fans brace themselves as they announce the release of a three-part docu-series called “The Cult of the Real Housewife.” The docuseries will chronicle the ‘cult-like’ practices of Faith Temple Pentecostal Church. That particular church is associated with RHOSLC star Mary Cosby and her husband, Robert Cosby Sr.

The network logline stated that the series “unpacks the allegations behind the headlines, revealing the darker and more unsettling truth about the church.” Furthermore, the makers claimed that the series uncovers “deeply personal and disturbing accounts from family members.” On the other hand, the reality TV star herself recently teased the highly anticipated crossover between RHOSLC and Below Deck.

TLC just took the cake with its announcement for “The Cult of the Real Housewife.” Fans lost their marbles over the brief video preview. The network also announced the premiere date for this highly anticipated docu-series of the RHOSLC star. “The Cult of the Real Housewife” premieres Thursday, January 1, from 8-11 PM ET/PT on TLC. The docuseries will be airing in three segmented parts this winter.

The network also revealed some of the most explosive and gripping parts in the released video preview. This is not TLC’s first rodeo, as it brings bold, investigative storytelling to light. “HILLSONG: A MEGACHURCH EXPOSED,” their previous docuseries, consequently earned an affluent amount of praise. Therefore, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the new docuseries. All episodes will be available to stream the next day on HBO Max and Discovery+.

This particular docuseries explicitly discloses disturbing accounts from Cosby family members and also ex-congregants. The TLC original features accounts from Mary’s sister, Denise Jefferson Okinada, and Mary’s cousin, Dan Cosby, along with his wife, Kim. The series also features accounts from several investigative journalists who had previously reported on the church.
