Bravo personality Lala Kent, formerly of Vanderpump Rules, noticed a small blister spot on the white of her eye. In her initial diagnosis by an optometrist, she said it was a benign growth that would get better after treatment, but she saw no improvement. She decided to go for a second opinion from a specialist who diagnosed it as an abnormality, potentially pre-cancerous, and recommended immediate treatment.

Lala’s diagnosis was emotionally draining for her. She spoke about it on her podcast, Give Them Lala, and said how she broke down when she heard the word cancerous. She was in a state of despair, but gathered all her courage to prepare herself for the treatment. Her fans became her supporters during the tough time. 

Vanderpump Rules: Lala Kent Reports Good News Post Chemotherapy For Eye Condition

Reality TV personality Lala Kent, known for her role on Vanderpump Rules, spoke openly about the positive progress she has made in her treatment. She explained about her treatment, which involved chemotherapy drops and steroids for over three months. Kent said the diagnosis was overwhelming initially, but she was focused on having a recovery. 

“When you hear the word ‘chemotherapy,’ it’s hard not to panic,” Kent said on her podcast. “I cried. It’s a scary word. But I had a wonderful specialist who guided me through every step.” She said her doctors were  “thrilled” with how her eye responded to the treatment. She received all positive news in her last checkup. 

Doctors have closely monitored the condition, and Lala has made significant progress. As a result, they will gradually reduce the frequency of her follow-up appointments. She will be seeing doctors every four months and then eventually every six months after a prompt follow-up. It will be done once a year to ensure she is in stable condition. “God willing that it just stays good,” she added, expressing cautious optimism.
