Former Vanderpump Rules star NeNe Leakes has finally opened up about her falling-out with fellow Bravo star Lisa Vanderpump. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum recently slammed Lisa for allegedly manipulating her out of a promising opportunity before taking it for herself.

Leakes accused Lisa of manipulating her to serve her own interests. During a podcast interview, Nene revealed an incident when Lisa intentionally misled Nene about a property that she later secured for her own profit. Another Vanderpump Rules star has accused Lisa Vanderpump of manipulation and exploitation. Scheana Shay, a longtime cast member of Vanderpump Rules, has accused Lisa of using her personal life for television drama. In an interview where Scheana was promoting her memoir, “My Good Side,” she stated that Vanderpump exploited her 2006 affair with Eddie Cibrian to launch the show’s narrative.

Scheana reportedly said, “She low-key used my real-life pain to launch her TV empire,” and accused Vanderpump of “gaslighting” her for almost a decade. Lisa, in her response, has denied any of Scheana’s accusations and dismissed them as “bulls–t.” The conflict between them keeps fans guessing who the true culprit is.

Vanderpump Rules: NeNe Slams Lisa Over Manipulation, Labels Her Behavior ‘Foul’

Ex-Bravo star NeNe Leakes has reportedly criticized Lisa Vanderpump, claiming she used manipulation to gain a business advantage. During a podcast interview, NeNe said, “There’s something Lisadid to me that … I’ve never really addressed.” NeNe recalled the incident from 2014, when she and her late husband Gregg lived in L.A. While driving through West Hollywood, she spotted an empty location near The Abbey that she thought would be perfect for a bar.

NeNe felt that discussing it with someone who had prior experience, and therefore reached out to Lisa Vanderpump for advice, trusting her as an expert. Lisa discouraged Nene from moving ahead with her plan. “She talked me out of it,” Leakes explained, calling the property overpriced and undesirable. Lisa said, ‘Oh darling, darling, it’s a piece of crap and they’re charging so much for it, darling.’ Trusting Lisa, NeNe let go of the opportunity only to realize it later that Lisa eventually opened Pump on the very same property.

“That’s so messed up,” she told. The restaurant eventually gained attention as many scenes of Vanderpump Rules were filmed there. “That’s so fucked up,” NeNe said, calling out Lisa’s manipulative skills. NeNe often reflects on how the venue could have been hers if Lisa hadn’t undermined her so severely.
