Moriah Plath didn’t hold back when a private Welcome to Plathville fan page shared some pictures of the Rodrigues family’s public account. The pictures were from a get-together. Lydia and Hosanna were visiting the family as it was clear in the pictures. Moriah has been born and brought up in an extremely strict household. The Rodrigues are also very religious people.

When the fan account posted the pictures again, Moriah didn’t know what to say. The only thing she knows is that she can’t control her sisters. Moreover, the reality TV star goes on to say that they have no control over her too. One Instagram user asked how they are in person. To that, Moriah’s reply was, “Need Jesus🙃.” Olivia, Moriah’s sister-in-law, laughed hard on that comment.
Plath Family’s History With Rodrigues Family
Nathan, Counting On star Anna Duggar’s brother, is engaged to Nurie, Rodrigues’ daughter. Nurie was also present at Hosanna’s wedding. They are friendly with each other. However, Olivia and Moriah might not want to do anything with the family and the situation. Olivia has even conflicted with Moriyah’s parents as they don’t share beliefs.
Ethan and Olivia don’t have a healthy relationship with Barry and Kim, his parents. We have also seen on the TLC series Welcome to Plathville that Moriah doesn’t align with her family beliefs. This is the main reason behind her struggles with Plath family members. Some of her family members are really conservative whereas she likes to live as a free bird.
So, the fact that Moriah wants to maintain a distance from gatherings that involve people from a conservative mindset is not that big of a surprise. However, it is a little bit of a shock that she doesn’t wish to be near her sisters.

Moriah’s sisters usually go by what their parents say and in most cases, obey them. However, Moriah is completely the opposite. It’s true that we have seen moments on TV where Moriah had a great relationship with her sisters. But now, since no one’s beliefs are aligning with that of Moriah’s she is likely to maintain a distance.
Olivia once stated that she is barely able to tolerate Kim, her mother-in-law. If there is one person we can say that Moriah might confide into is Olivia. According to Olivia, Ethan’s parents are a lot to take. Moreover, she has mentioned how harsh Kim can be and how difficult it is for them to go along.
