Inspired by the ABC reality show ‘Wife Swap,’ Bravo drops a new series, “Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition.” The show would primarily showcase a Real Housewives alumna swapping roles with actual real housewives. Both ladies would swap lifestyles, luxuries, and other practices during their swap. Although the show was previously set to premiere last week, it didn’t.

The premiere show was supposed to feature the RHOP alumna, Wendy Osefo. However, Bravo Tv pulled her episode after her arrest. Therefore, the premiere of the series kicked off last night with RHOSLC diva, Angie Katsanevas. She swaps places with former Mormon Lindsay Flake and experiences her farm lifestyle. Bravo TV revived the legendary show ‘Wife Swap’ with a twist. The show got a revival through a crossover opportunity with The Real Housewives universe. Fans didn’t see this crossover coming in their wildest dreams. The announcement of the crossover created major buzz among the fandom. The pre-show stats showed significant viewers’ anticipation. The makers of the series had promised definite drama.

The first episode yesterday featured RHOSLC fan favorite Angie going “off-grid.” In the next episode, RHONJ alumna Melissa Gorga is set to swap places with double-dutch enthusiast Michelle Clark. Furthermore, Real Housewives, namely Emily Simpson and Wendy Osefo, will be featured in the latter episodes. Bravo will air Wife Swap on streaming platforms like Fubo, DIRECTV, and Sling.

Episode 1 of Wife Swap got RHOSLC’s Angie dropped off at an off-grid location. “I’m definitely overdressed and underprepared,” she spoke out, notably surprised. However, on the other side, Lindsay felt like she was in The Jetsons. Lindsey was seemingly star-struck with the ‘bidet.’ However, Lindsay has been working her mind, wondering about the need for so many ginormous sunglasses.

Following the rules, Lindsay cleaned the sunglasses while Elektra and Shawn watched TV. However, she kept wondering about that particular rule’s importance. On the other hand, the 1800s aesthetic creeped Angie out. She notably remembered the movie, ‘The Hills Have Eyes.’ The meat cleavers adorning the walls didn’t help her case. After a brief tour, she started enjoying the family’s attention, especially Hazel’s. Little Hazel apparently made her nostalgic about little Elektra.

The next morning, Angie got all sweaty. She hauled gallons of water all morning. This rule made her rethink her morning routine. As a result of Angie’s rule, she took the Flake kids out for milkshakes. Later, she took Tanner to the dive bar. The duo clearly tore up the dance floor. On the contrary, Lindsay went all out with Angie’s glam lifestyle. Moreover, she got a manicure just before her gym session.

Shawn’s trainer, however, wasn’t at all impressed with her “Farm girl sh*t” lifestyle. Later, Shawn’s eyes noticeably got wider at the mention of ticks while he was giving her a blowout. As for Lindsay’s rule, she made Shawn and Elektra go ‘off-grid’ by putting up tents in their backyard. Shawn enjoyed the activity while Elektra didn’t.
