Even after being murdered in Days of Our Lives, viewers are getting to see Mike Mannings as Charlie Dale on the soap opera. This is because he has continued to appear in flashbacks. However, now, the latest Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that the actor is exiting the soap opera.
The first time viewers got to see Mannings was back in October 2020 when he came to Salem as a new intern at Titian. Soon after his arrival, Charlie was a part of the romantic storyline until things changed. Soon his mother Ava came to Salem, and then Allie blamed Tripp (Charlie’s twin brother) as her rapist.
However, as that story unrolled, viewers got to see that Charlie was the real rapist. He was sent to jail, but he came out soon after. This made many people in Port Charles want to kill him. But Charlie met his grim fate when Jan Spears killed him. Even after dying on-screen, the actor has been on the show in flashbacks. However, now he is moving forward in his life.
The latest news suggest that Mike Mannings is leaving Days of Our Lives, but viewers will soon get to see him in an indie film called “The Way Out.” This film will be written and directed by Barry Jay. Mannings will play the character of Shane Collins, who is a manipulative box. He manipulates Alex Romero played by Johnny Beauchamp, and takes him under his wing. He teaches him fighting techniques.
While it is sad that Mannings is leaving Days of Our Lives, the good part is that he has something to look forward to. We wish all the luck to him. With that said, we also hope that Mannings does come back to Salem down the line. Speaking of Salem, a lot of drama is going on in Days of Our Lives.
