First is legendary actress Marla Gibbs, who is coming in for an interesting role. Another face is fan-favorite A.J. McLean, who will be coming for a guest appearance. What will they play? Marla Gibbs Joins Days of Our Lives
The latest spoilers suggest that The Jeffersons fame Marla Gibbs is all set to come and move things up in the land of Salem. She is coming in to play Paulina’s mother- Olivia Price. As per Soap Opera Digest, Gibbs will first appear on the soap opera this August 17, 2021. Incidentally, Gibbs coming to DOOL will be her reunion with Paulina portrayer Jackée Harry. Both the actress spent years together on the series 227. The 90-year old Gibbs recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and now she is coming to shake things up in Salem.
Now that we know that she is coming in to play Paulina’s mother, we can’t help but think, what will her storyline be? It looks like she might be coming in because she isn’t happy about how everything has turned out in the town. Paulina deceiving everyone and secretly planning to destroy Horton Square wasn’t a good idea. While Paulina is trying to make everything right, this could be one of many reasons why Olivia Price is coming to Salem. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see the iconic actress joining the soap opera.
A.J. McLean Is Coming In For A Guest Appearance
More Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings reveals that The Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean is coming in DOOL for a guest appearance. Recently, the actor took onto his Instagram to update his fans that one of his biggest dreams is coming true. McLean says that there is a daytime show that he and his grandmother used to watch. He dropped a couple of hints and asked fans to guess what he was talking about. The vocal artist said words like Bo, Hope, eyepatch. He was clearly talking about Days of Our Lives super couple Bo Brady and Hope Williams Brady.
As if this wasn’t enough, he, later on, showed a big decorated poster in the studio hallway. Then, A.J. revealed that he is coming to Days of Our Lives for a guest appearance. He will play the character of a driver. Concluding his video, he says that this is very interesting, and he hopes that he makes his grandma proud. It looks like some very interesting comings are on the cards. Marla Gibbs will appear on August 17, and McLean has shot his episodes on July 22, 2021.
