The latest Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that there are some news making rounds about a former NBC soap star. There have been many conversations about whether or not EJ DiMera would be coming back on the soap opera. James Scott had played the character on Days. These conversations become natural given that Sami Brady DiMera has gotten back to Salem and her EJ is still in Europe ailing. Would he get to the Salem too? Here are all the details about it-
Days of Our Lives: Is EJ DiMera Coming Back?
Recently actor James Scott, the actor who played EJ DiMera from 2006 to 2014, made it clear that he has no plans of coming back to the soap opera. In 2014, when he left Days of Our Lives, the actors’ life entirely changed. He visited an Indian meditation center and then took a turn away from acting. Right now, James has a website called- “The Whisper Within.” There he promotes meditation and a self-conscious way of living. Recently, the actor posted a picture on his Instagram with Deepak Chopra. One of the DOOL fans commented on the picture of how they missed him. The fan insisted that James calls Days and comes back with Sami. To this comment, James thanked this fan for joining him there and also clarified that he will never go back to Hollywood, let alone Days. He does not think there is anything interesting left there for him.
How Did Fans React?
After this clarification, there were a number of reactions from fans. One said that they all miss James very much. Another commented that they are glad that the actor has found happiness and peace outside Hollywood. Finally, the person who made the initial comment concluded this whole chain by commenting that they had no clue that James did not want to do anything with acting. They continued to say that now it all explains why he hasn’t been on any projects for so long. They apologized and said that as a big fan, they had the hope that maybe the actor would come back. James is a great actor, but he should do what makes him happy, the fan added in the comment.
This comes in as good news and bad news. Now we know that James Scott is never coming back to play EJ. However, there is also a possibility that a recast might be on the cards.
