In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, the writer of the show Ron Carlivati said that they have an idea for Sami but haven’t pitched and approved it. But all he can tell us at this moment is that Sami is in for something good. What could it be? For starters, it looks like whatever story Days of Our Lives is bringing in is actually a Sami centric story. It isn’t something Sami just pops in. It looks like they will have a proper storyline rolled out for Sami when she comes back to Salem.
What Could Be Sami’s Storyline?
Sami could be involved in plenty of family drama. It could have something to do with her daughter Allie Horton. Nicole Brady will soon become the surrogate mother to Allie in the upcoming storyline. So perhaps both of them might end up taking care of the baby together. That would indeed lead to more issues and make a pretty nice storyline.
Will Sami’s Storyline Have A Romantic Angle?
This is Salem, and anything can happen here. It is very much possible that we might see a potential romance. The question is, Will Sami stay loyal to EJ Dimera, who is in Italy for his treatment? It is also possible that since EJ and Sami have been apart for so long, she might open her heart to Rafe Hernandez. The two have been a couple before, and maybe their loneliness could bring them together.

With a big Sami storyline coming up, we can say that it looks like the right time to unleash EJ on Salem. Maybe EJ would miraculously recover and come into surprise Sami. Upon his comeback, he would find Sami and Rafe sneaking around. This indeed sounds like a storyline that would take some time before it gets approved. One of the main reasons is James Scott’s return. It will take some time to do that or perhaps find a perfect replacement.
