Life is not easy for Johnny at the moment. Facing his mother’s loss is not something he wants to experience on Days of Our Lives, but then who does? He realizes how tough it is for Marlena too and thus he decided to make her last moments a little more comforting. Johnny planned to create a montage of memorable pictures and videos of Marlena and her loved ones. His ex-wife Chanel offered to help him put the montage together. Reliving all the past memories while his mother’s death was edging closer was an emotional roller coaster for Johnny.
In a moment of trying to comfort him, Chanel came too close to him on Days of Our Lives. In a daunting moment, she and Johnny leaned in for a kiss as emotions were running high. However, they were interrupted by Allie who mistook the situation as a betrayal. Feeling hurt that Chanel would cheat on her with Johnny, Allie lashed out. She even has been seeking comfort from Alex. Does that mean we are about to see two new couples emerge on Days of Our Lives? Chanel and Johnny have a past that connects them on a very deep level. Those sorts of feelings don’t just go away. So it won’t be all that surprising if they decided to restart their old relationship.
Heartbroke Allie Leaves Salem, Lindsay Arnold Exiting Days Of Our Lives?
While there is a huge chance that Johnny and Chanel can reignite their former love on Days of Our Lives, it’s not such a sure thing for Alex and Allie. There is an undercurrent of passion between Johnny and Chanel, possibly from their relationship before. However, Allie and Alex don’t share that sort of connection. It’s true that Alex is also nursing heartbreak and so is Allie, thus a couple of rebound hookups make a lot of sense. But that doesn’t necessarily mean it could lead to something long-lasting.
Moreover, the latest Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that actress Lindsay Arnold has been dropped to a recurring status. Thus, her screen time is surely going to shrink. However, Twitter is buzzing with rumors that Lindsay will soon be exiting the soap for good. Perhaps her recurring status is only for the scenes leading up to her exit from the soap! We can assume that hooking up with Alex won’t really heal her heart and eventually she will decide to move on in her life. If Chanel and Johnny reconnect, it would be hard for Allie to see them together. Thus, she may decide that the best thing for her is to move away from Salem and start a fresh life elsewhere.
