Over the past few months, Days of Our Lives has seen a number of comings and goings. The new faces that have joined the soap have brought new drama and twists. Abigail Is Leaving Salem
A recent Days of Our Lives report reveals that viewers will soon bid adieu to their beloved character Abigail Deveraux DiMera played by Kate Mansi. Mansi came back to Days of Our Lives in November. She came in accompanied by her TV husband Chad DiMera. Both of them came to Salem after their web series. In the web series, the couple lived in Paris and took responsibility for the DiMera Enterprises overseas.
Days of Our Lives: What Is The Ongoing Storyline?
Now Abigail will wrap her character by the end of the month of May. In the recent storyline, Abigail is in the hospital after she has had several hallucinations. She was drugged. However, all this brought back the fears about her mental health. That could be the new upcoming storyline that would lead to her departure.
Fans Love The Chad-Abby Pairing!
While Chad and Abigail came back together, it will just be Abigail who will leave the land of Salem. Chad will continue to stay in Salem. Fans quite love this couple, so, it will be pretty for one of them to leave the town. However, there can be exciting twists coming up. We will get to see how will Chad start living without Abby. Perhaps the couple will split, or maybe Chad would leave Salem in the near future? A lot is possible there.
Days of Our Lives: A New Zoey Burge Is Coming
Kate Mansi is leaving, indeed, but the story does not end there. With one departure, we will get to see a new face in the land of Salem. We will get to see a new face playing Zoey Burge. Zoey is Orpheus’s daughter and Evan Frears’s sister. The character will now be played by a new face. As of now, actress Kelly Thiebaud is portraying the character on screen. However, reports suggest that she will no longer be able to portray the character. It is because of some scheduling conflicts. She will conclude her last episode of May 6.
Days of Our Lives: Alyshia Ochse Is On-Board
Actress Alyshia Ochse is coming on-board to take over the character of Zoey. She will indeed bring on new spin and twists on the character. Fans are only getting to know the character anyways. Currently, Zoey is working with her brother Evan as his lawyer. She is fighting for Evan’s son – David’s custody.
David is late Jordan Ridgeway’s child. She had asked her former boyfriend Rafe Hernandez to take care of the child. He has been doing so. Now, almost after a year, the truth is out that Evan is David’s biological father. So, now the custody battle is on.
We really will miss Kate Mansi on Days of Our Lives. Also, we’d like to welcome Alyshia Ochse to Salem. We look ahead on seeing her do justice to the role.
