Days of Our Lives recap for July 28, 2022, relays the story of Jake’s death and its consequences. Gabi receives a warning about EJ’s plans to dethrone her from the CEO position. Moreover, now that Jake is dead, Ava will also have all his shares and new voting rights. This would be the case if the two of them managed to get married too.
Meanwhile, Allie and Johnny start a cake fight while waiting for Chanel’s decision. Chanel spent some time with her mother and came up with a solution to her answer. EJ convinced Chad to live in their home in another part of town.
Gabi Receives News About Jake’s Death
In this Days of Our Lives episode, we saw Gabi receive a warning. Kate Roberts warned her about EJ DiMera’s plan to go for her throne at the top of DiMera Enterprises. To top this bad news, Gabi received a phone call from Rafe, informing her about Jake’s unfortunate death at the hands of the gunman.
Astonished, Gabi ran to the hospital. Gabi was surprised that Ava and Jake had gotten engaged just before the shocking incident. She was unsure of Ava’s intentions and suspected that the two of them had also gotten married. Ava would inherit all of Jake DiMera’s shares from the company if that were the case. Moreover, if Ava gets the shares, she also gets voting rights for the next CEO – is that the case now? Will Ava decide Gabi’s future? We will have to wait and watch to find out.
Days Of Our Lives Recap: Chanel Has Made A Decision
Meanwhile, Chanel Dupree needs her mother’s help in another part of town. Deciding between Allie and Johnny is taking a toll on her as it is not easy to choose between the twins. The two had a discussion, and by the end of it, Chanel had an answer.
Despite the heated battle, Allie and Johnny spend a day behaving like their younger selves. They had pie battles and enjoyed spending time together. During their bickering, they tried to convince Tony and Steve to join them, but they made a lucky escape. We can only hope Chanel makes a wise choice between the two in the upcoming Days of Our Lives episodes.
EJ Stops Chad, Jake’s Spirit Meets Ava
It is not enough that EJ has his shares at DiMera enterprises. He wants Chad to help him make moves toward the top. Chad is angry and tries to put up a fight. However, after some time alone, Chad does not want to live at the mansion where his dead wife once lived. He wants to move out, but EJ convinces him to stay.
Meanwhile, Jake’s spirit visited Ava. She was furious at him and slapped him across the face. Jake laughed it off and told her to live her life to the fullest. He encouraged her to move on him from him after she was done mourning for him.
