Days of Our Lives has some really complex love stories to tell. Every now and then the romantic storylines of a couples keep intersecting with other people on the soap, resulting in mayhem. Currently, Wendy is having a gala time with Tripp in Seattle. The duo hit a couple of hurdles when it came to pulling off a date.
But, like they say delayed gratification is so much more satisfying! Proving that statement true, Tripp and Wendy spent some really beautiful moments together. Wendy And Tripp Connect In Seattle While Johnny Pines In Salem
For a little while there, it seemed like Johnny and Wendy would be the next couple on Days of Our Lives. However, staying true to its complexities, the soap threw a monkey wrench in their budding bond. Thanks to Talia’s drugged biscuits, Johnny proposed marriage to Chanel and she accepted. Unfortunately, Wendy witnessed the entire proposal and decided to accept Tripp’s romantic offer. After a couple derailed dates, the couple decided to jet off to Seattle where Tripp needed to tend to his brother, Joey.
Tripp and Wendy took the mini getaway as the perfect opportunity to connect at a deeper level on Days of Our Lives. However, now Wendy must head back to Salem and resume her office duties at DiMera Enterprise. Despite the fact that Tripp is urging her stay back a little longer, Wendy must decline or risk getting fired. Meanwhile, back home, Johnny is still pining over losing Wendy to Tripp. He feels like he has lost his chance with her and its too late to change it. But is that really so?
Wendy Returns Alone, Johnny Tries To Win Her Back On Days Of Our Lives
Johnny may feel like all is lost with Wendy on Days of Our Lives. But that’s actually not true. The one thing that finally pushed her in Tripp’s arms was Johnny’s proposal to Chanel. However, it was only a byproduct of the drugs. The minute the wore off, Johnny and Chanel broke off the engagement. But Wendy doesn’t know that yet. Neither does she know that Johnny desperately wants her in his life. When Wendy returns home to resume her job, she may finally hear about the whole drugging fiaso. That could become Johnny’s way back in!
Tripp needs to stay back in Seattle a while longer to take care of Joey after his accident on Days of Our Lives. This would leave Wendy conveniently alone in Salem. If Johnny takes advantage of this little window, he could still have a chance with her. Johnny might approach Wendy and tell her that he only proposed Chanel under the influence of the drugs.
Moreover, he can make a full confession about his feelings to her. But will that be enough for Wendy? Especially after the magical time she spent with Tripp in Seattle?
