EastEnders: Suki Listens To Her Heart, REUNITES With Eve

When Suki was first introduced on EastEnders, she came across as the very suppressed Panesar Matriarch. However, her character experienced a shift when her world collided with that of Eve! For the first time she realised her bisexuality. Something that she had constantly sparred over when her own daughter, Ash, opened up about her preference of the same sex. But Suki’s dalliance with Eve gave her the courage to accept her sexuality and act upon it!

Unfortunately, when Suki’s son, Vinny, found out about his mother’s budding relationship with Eve on EastEnders, he flew off the handle. Vinny’s murderous rage towards Eve terrified Suki. And she decided to pull the plug on everything that was building between her and Eve. Thus, ending the relationship in favour of choosing her family. However, Suki and Eve’s storyline was well received by EastEnders fans and they wanted more!

In a recent talk with the media, EastEnders star Balwinder Sopal (Suki) opened up about the possibility of a Suki-Eve reunion. Fans have been rooting on social media for a SUKEVE reunion. It seems like no one, except Vinny wants Suki to choose the abusive Nish over Eve! Balwinder told Radiotimes.com that this may not be the end. Although she didn’t give out much details about whether or not their will be a reunion. She did say that there is a lot more to watch. “You just have to keep watching to see how it plays out,” she teased.

Balwinder also pointed that apart from her story with Eve, there is also going to be a solo storyline for Suki on EastEnders. Perhaps it will be something that will buildup to the Christmas FlashForward scene. There have seen a lot of speculation about who the male murder victim could be. And Balwinder’s husband, Nish Panesar’s, name has been quite high up on the list of options! Could something that happens between Suki and Eve eventually lead to Nish getting killed?
