Emmerdale Shares Teasers For January 2024, Shocking Deaths On The Way

Emmerdale has released the first teasers of a big January 2024 plot that could transform village life forever. At a press event this week, show producer Laura Shaw informed about a tragedy that will strike in the New Year. The characters are still kept under the covers, but the plot will feature popular villagers. Shaw said: “There’s going to be a tragedy in the village in January that’s going to affect two of our most-loved families. It will break friendships and change one family forever.”

Emmerdale fans will have to wait to find out more, although a reference to a “tragedy” will likely lead to another Emmerdale fatality. As we saw, Rishi Sharma died on his son Jai’s wedding day to Laurel Thomas in 2023, while Charles Anderson’s dad, Victor, died weeks later. Also, stalker Lloyd Sawyer died after Dan Spencer punched him. It’s impossible to forget rapist Craig Reed who died after a horse fight with Kim Tate. Lucy Malcoms also died during childbirth. 

In the Super Soap Week car incident, Chloe Harris, Mackenzie Boyd, and Charity Dingle barely survived. When Mack had a chance to save either of the two women, he chose to save Charity over Chloe.
