The latest General Hospital spoilers reveal that Nelle might have died on the show. But is it the end? It certainly does not look like it. In fact, her fate is unknown. It is possible that she might come back. Will Nelle come back from the dead? That certainly is possible given that Nina now knows about her biological daughter. As we explore the possibility of Nelle coming back to Port Charles, the Co-head writers at General Hospital- Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor, recently opened up on what path Nina and her child would take. The Writers Reveal Future Possibilities
In the interview, Dan O’Connor says that the truth of Nelle being Nina’s daughter has been a part of the whole character development. Over the past few years, the story has evolved, and they have been able to bag the audience says, O’Connor. We are not yet sure if Nelle would come back in flesh and blood. However, there are certainly a number of questions around that.
One of the biggest questions is if they had to bring back Nelle, why did they even give her the Frank Benson and the kidney drama backstory? It does not fit right. When we think that selfish Frank would have wanted to adopt a child along with his wife at all. So, General Hospital writers would have had to work really hard to stretch the whole storyline.
General Hospital: Was Nelle Always Meant To Be Nina’s Daughter?
Then, viewers who have been keeping up with the show would remember Nina and Willow’s feud back when Willow was Charlotte’s teacher. It looked like it was meant to be Nina. But then something changed behind the scenes and led to Nelle being Nina’s child. Of Course, there were some more moments between Nina and Nelle when Nelle was working as Charlotte’s nanny. One could argue that Nina was pretty motherly to Nelle back in the time. So, viewers might still buy the fact that Nelle is actually Nina’s daughter, and that was an idea that was tossed around in the writers’ room.
However, it is very tough to believe that making Nelle Nina’s daughter was a firm plan. Why would writers wait for so long before they introduce the two of them as mother-daughter? It does not make a lot of sense. In fact, this seems like an option that was considered all along the way, and the writers settled on this storyline when they realized that this would be a very dramatic storyline indeed. Regardless, General Hospital spoilers hint that Nina will be on a war to seek justice for Nelle and will try to keep Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos with her in the upcoming weeks.
Will Nelle Be Coming Back?
Van Etten and O’Connor have also spoken about Chloe Lanier’s work as if she was present on the soap. So, this might be an indication that she isn’t done yet and will be coming back soon. Van Etten suggested that it is a lot of fun when they have a performer like Chloe playing Nelle and unleashing all the poison she can. At the same time, she can even turn on a dime and rip everyone’s heart when there is a bit of waterworks.
Since the writers are claiming that Nelle was meant to be Nina’s daughter from the very beginning, they really might be bringing Lanier back so that the story does not feel incomplete.
