McCullough originally decided to retire from acting back in 2018. She decided to focus more on directing. However, now she is coming back for a special episode at General Hospital. The actress had been playing the character of Robert Scorpio since 1985. It will indeed be a lot of fun to watch her getting back in character.

As mentioned earlier, McCullough’s Robin Scorpio will be coming back to Port Charles for the special episode to celebrate John Reilly’s life. The actor plays the role of Commissioner Sean Donnelly from 1985-1995 on the soap opera. He recently passed away in January 2021 at the age of 86.
So, General Hospital has decided to dedicate a tribute episode for him, which is all set to air this May 21, 2021. Not just McCullough, a number of other actors and actresses will be a part of this episode. This includes Reilly’s real-life daughter Caitlin Reilly who will be coming in to play the character of Sean’s daughter Annie.
