Since he was at odds with his family, he winded up in Port Charles, where he met mob Sonny and became his right hand.

General Hospital viewers know that Sonny was the head of the Corinthos organization, the most influential mob family among the five mob families in the town. However, then Sonny fell off the bridge in New Jersey while he was looking for Julian Jerome. He got washed up and was found in Nixon Falls. He then suffered from amnesia and hence didn’t remember anything when Phyllis and Lenny Caulfield gave Sonny a roof on the head. Right now, Sonny is living with the name “Mike” and no memories of his life at all.
Jason, on the other hand, was in hiding until now. He had run off to Canada along with Britt Westbourne after he was framed for Franco’s murder. While Jason was away with Britt, the two of them got really close. However, he recently came back to Port Charles when he came to know that Cyrus had held Damian Spinelli, his hostage, and Carly might be in danger too.
Sonny And Jason Might Want To Change Their Life
While Jason and Sonny had been living the mob life for very long, some General Hospital spoilers suggest that they might want to change it now. Both of them now have a taste of how their life could be if they weren’t in this dangerous business. Sonny is living as “Mike,” who is a simple guy and is against violence or criminal activities. He enjoys helping people and is very kind.
Jason, on the other hand, is growing closer and starting a romance with Dr. Britt Westbourne. So, when these guys come to Port Charles again, they might think that they want to start a new life without all the criminal activities and drama.
Upon Sonny’s comeback, he might realize how nicely Carly has handled everything, and he might believe that she will be able to do so from here on. On the other Jason knows that his new lover- Britt has Huntington’s disease marker. So, he might think that the wise thing to do is stay away from these dangerous activities and give all his attention to Britt. He might want to keep Britt safe.
