Long-running ABC show General Hospital star Maurice Benard who plays the character Sonny Corinthos since 1993, is an absolute fan favorite, and rightly so! Over the years, with the transformations in his character and storylines, he has experimented with a variety of looks (or good looks, let’s say). From an attractive young boy to a gorgeous suave man, his journey has been commendable, and the star has never left any stone unturned to wow his fans!
Earlier this week, Maurice Benard took to his social media account to share an exciting new look that totally shocked his fans. He has completely outdone himself, as this transformation is nothing like he has ever done before, and we bet you will not be able to recognize him!
General Hospital Star Maurice Benard’s Big Reveal!
Maurice Benard posted a video on his Instagram account, and BAM! It’s Tony Stark in the flesh! But wait, no, it’s not! It is Maurice himself, dressed up as Tony Stark! Two Legends at the price of one, it legit cannot get better than this!
As he moved his camera around to reveal his entire look, he went on to say that he was attending a game night theme party, and all the guests were dressing up as Superheroes.
“It’s supposed to be Tony Stark…alright, I can do this!” he grinned at his fans in the video. He went on to add that although he is all dressed up like Stark, he doesn’t really know how to talk or behave like him. “I know it’s kind of different,” he laughed cheekily!
He went on to add that he has come out in the open to talk to his animals, “my animals are like, who are you and why are you wearing those glasses,” he joked as he took off his glasses and gave us a glimpse of his smoldering eyes.
Fans Compare Him To Al Pacino and Sylvester Stallone!
The video quickly became popular amongst General Hospital fans (no surprise there) and left them in splits in the comments section.“You’re too much, I can’t, I just can’t”, a fan exclaimed hilariously. “I love it” and “too good” was a common theme in the comments. Interestingly, a fan pointed out that his look reminded him of that of “Al Pacino in Carilto’s Way and Stallone in Nighthawks!”
Another went on to say that it could be Mike’s new look on the show! (Makers, are you listening?) Maurice acknowledged his fans by replying with a laughing emoji to most of the comments, no wonder everyone loves him so much!
