The Young and the Restless, just like all other soap operas, has stopped the productions because of the Coronavirus pandemic. The material to air is falling short. To cope up with the problem, the sudser started broadcasting old classic episodes of the soap opera. Each week they air episodes centered around a particular topic. This will be the ritual until they can start shooting again. This week as good news for all Victor and Nikki fans, The Young and the Restless announced that the upcoming second week of the ritual would be around Nikki and Victor. In a tweet recently, The Young and the Restless revealed that this week they would air the episodes with the idea of “Lifetime of Love.” These episodes will highlight Victor and Nikki Newman. The two have had a decades-long story. The earliest moment will be from the times of 1981. This will be a series of moments of one of the most celebrated couples in the daytime.
It’s Been A Long Story Indeed
Throughout all these years, the couple has faced many ups and downs. Victor and Nikki have two children- Nick and Victoria. The couple has had divorce many times and also married others sometimes over the span of time. However, they always find themselves with each other.
Recently they tried to pull off an open marriage. Nikki dated Arturo Rosales at that time. At the very same time, Victor also dated a young contractor. However, they understood that it wouldn’t work like that and came back into a committed relationship. The couple is now standing united while Victor went through the life-threatening disease. They have also faced Adam’s attack together.
Fans Are Excited!
After fans came to know about this, they were quite excited. We will get five more classic episodes of this couple. The soap started airing classic episodes every Friday. Victor and Nikki’s first wedding that happened in 1984 is aired. So fans have had their first old-school storyline.
