The Young and the Restless viewers know that there has been a lot of speculation on how Hunter King (Summer Newman) and Michael Mealor (Kyle Abbott) were leaving the soap opera. While Mealor has confirmed his exit, Summer portrayer Hunter King has been mum about it. Storyline-wise, viewers haven’t seen much of Summer either. However, we did get to see her in a video call with Phyllis. And now, viewers are getting to see her as Nikki and Victor are visiting her in Italy.
Back home in Genoa City, Phyllis declared war against Tara and Sally. Phyllis knows that they are the reason why Summer left, and now she just wants a confirmation. Not just Phyllis, Billy has also started getting suspicious of Tara, and he is helping Phyllis on this mission. The Young and the Restless viewers are speculating that after this is said and done, it will lead to Summer and Kyle’s reunion.
Y&R fans would know that the reason why Mealor and King were leaving the soap was because of contract negotiations. But what if Hunter King miraculously got what she wanted and decided to stay? What we do not understand is how will it all play out if Summer stays and Kyle is leaving? Would it happen that King would leave the show for a little while and come back later on? That is indeed a possibility.
She Knows from Soaps.com reported that when Summer went to the CBS sitcom Life In Pieces, she became a recurring character. So, that might be happening again. For now, we just have to wait to see what The Young and the Restless is bringing for Summer and Kyle. They are a wildly popular soap couple. So, how will all of this rollout?
