The Young and the Restless viewers who have been keeping up with the show know that recently Lola revealed the news that she had received an amazing job offer in Florida when she came to see Rey. It didn’t take long for him to realize that this is the exact job that Lola wanted. The siblings shared some sweet banter as Lola gives her brother some advice regarding his marriage with Sharon. They express their love, and they promise to be there for one another. One thing that this whole stint makes us think is, Is Lola leaving The Young and the Restless?
Yes, Sasha Calle, who plays the character of Lola, is leaving The Young and the Restless. Back in February, she revealed that she has bagged the role of Supergirl in a flash film. She even makes history as she is the first Latina Supergirl in the DC universe. Back in the time, she had shared a video of her breaking down when she came to know that she was Supergirl. It clearly isn’t possible for her to play both Lola and Supergirl at the same time. So, she is leaving The Young and the Restless.
Now, another question is, will we get a recast for Lola then? It does not look like so at the moment. Ever since Lola’s marriage with Kyle imploded, she has been on a back burner. She has just been used as a support system for a number of characters. So, it does not looks like the creators would bring another Lola, at least until they have a solid storyline for her.
