The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Donny Boaz is coming back to the soap opera soon. Most fans already know that Boaz had tested COVID positive. So, he had to be replaced in a hurry. Melissa Ordway’s (Abby-Newman-Abbott-Chancellor) real-life husband, Justin Gaston came in to replace Boaz temporarily. Now that Boaz’s return date is looming nearer, the actor took on to his social media to offer his gratitude to his replacement Gaston. Boaz posted a sweet message to thank Gaston for filling in.
Boaz getting replaced meant that he missed all the Chance and Abby’s wedding celebration along with all the newly-wed moments the couple has had. Boaz says that he hated that he couldn’t be there for the filming but he thinks that the silver lining was that Gaston and Ordway were a real-life couple. So the romance in those scenes seemed and felt different.
In another post Boaz posted on Instagram, he confirmed that he would be back on screen from December 18. He also teased that some great storylines are coming up for Chance and Abby in the upcoming days. So, fans have something to look forward to.
