Fans who have been keeping up with Young and the Restless know that Summer and Kyle have mutually fallen back in love. They are now a much-in-love couple in Genoa City. The two have had a connection for years now. Kola falling apart is what served as the bridge for this Skyle reunion. As of the current scenario, both Summer and Kyle are madly in love with each other. They care for one another and also share a long history. They really have connected together. While this pairing seems very simple, what will happen when they finally decide to get married? Will they be able to achieve viewers’ engagement?
Young and the Restless: The Pairings Ended Quite Differently
Earlier, Kyle was married to Lola, and when it ended, Kyle started claiming that he never loved Lola. That bit did seem quite rushed. Kyle even said that he did not care for Lola as much as he cared for Summer. Many fans of Young and the Restless were quite vocal about this rushed end. It would have been much better if Kyle and Lola’s relationship’s end was crafted more minutely.
Theo had dumped Summer even before Kyle and Lola ended. So, that storyline did seem believable as he had started getting tough vibes from Summer. Summer didn’t wanted to take their relationship ahead, and their relationship didn’t seem to be based on true love either.
It Will Be Sometime Before Skyle gets married
It was sometime before Kyle and Lola completely ended, and Kyle and Summer started their relationship. This makes sense because everyone involved in the drama needed time before they were absolutely sure about what they were doing. The first time Summer and Kyle were together; it was a total sham. Kyle was desperate, so he suggested that he and Summer could get married so she would be able to donate a part of her liver to Lola. Summer then took this offer, but it did come with a year marriage trial condition. The two got married, and Lola was saved. Then Lola got back into the picture ending Summer and Kyle’s marriage. So now it looks like writers will give Skyle sometime before they decide to get married for the second time.
Is A Threat Coming Up For Summer and Kyle?
Summer and Kyle are together and evidently very happy. Both of them are optimistic, and everyone around them is happy for them too. Both of them are very honest with each other. They are verbally agreed to get engaged, and that would be quite embraced with openness and acceptance from their loved ones. We can expect that Summer’s parents might be supportive of this decision too.
On the other hand, Lola and Theo don’t look like a potential threat to Summer-Kyle either. There is no competition going on between these two couples in this storyline. This dynamic might change in the future. Hoping that there is no competition between these couples, it looks like the only big danger for Skyle is both Summer and Kyle themselves.
