13 Reasons Why debuted as a brilliant teen show intending to highlight some serious issues with its unique and tragic storyline. It ended up in too much controversy for it, yet managed to connect to a lot of viewers from all around the globe. However, over the years, its quality of content seems to be degrading. The third season enraged a large portion of its fanbase for having an unworthy plotline and missing emotions like the first season. Well, some fans still have high expectations from the fourth installment, and we hope it turns out to be a hit.
Is ’13 Reasons Why Season 4′ Delayed?
It has never been easy for 13RW fans to wait for its installments as they usually take quite a while to release. Hence, the thought of 13 Reasons Why Season 4 getting delayed is already scary. That being said, we have to understand that carrying out the productions and post-production is not easy at this point in time. The entire world is currently fighting the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. As of early-May, over 3.4 million cases have emerged alongside the tragic death of more than 240,000 people.
While most of the countries are in quarantine, almost all the sectors including the entertainment industry are suffering. The production of some extremely famous shows like Stranger Things Season 4 and The Witcher Season 2 have been suspended (for now). Fortunately, the list of delayed tv-series is yet to include 13 Reasons Why Season 4. None of the creators or cast members have talked about the rescheduling of its premiere. Well, to be fair, the cast is usually not allowed to talk about the release date. Yet, if there’s a major delay coming, someone would’ve made it official.
As per Season 4’s schedule, the cast and crew wrapped up the filming way back in December 2019. Hence, the upcoming season is currently undergoing its post-production process. While it’s possible to do the post-production work at home, the creators are yet to confirm the same. Well, there’s still enough time to wrap up the work. 13 Reasons Why installments normally take around 14 to 15 months to hit the screens. Based on the current demand for content, it’s likely that the episodes will arrive just on time.
What Will Season 4 Be About?
13 Reasons Why Season 4 will center around the mysterious death of Montgomery de la Cruz. Monty’s love interest, Winston might seek justice for his boyfriend’s death and spoil the game for the lead characters. On the other hand, now that Tyler’s guns have been found, Clay and Tony may get into trouble for helping Tyler. Well, we hope that Clay saves all of them yet again. Well, aside from all this, be ready for new problems and dramas in the final installment of the popular series.
When Will ’13 Reasons Why Season 4′ Release?
Since the new season seems to be on schedule, it might take 14 to 15 months as usual. The third installment came out in August 2019, hence, the next one should likely come out around October 2020. In fact, since the demand for the last season is high, it may come around a month or two early. We will update this section as soon as a concrete date comes out.
