Even before the first season of Amazon’s new animated series Fairfax released, the streaming giant has ordered Fairfax season 2. Amazon had ordered 16 episodes of about half-hour adult animated comedy that will be divided into two seasons.
Created and produced by Haisfather, Riley, and Buchsbaum, the show is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video sometime in 2021 in over 200 countries. The show will be a story of four middle-school friends and their never-ending adventures of clout on Fairfax Avenue, the pulsing heart of LAS hypebeast culture.
Creators Speak About Fairfax Season 2
In a statement, the creator says that the show, Fairfax is a love letter to the kids of this generation. This is the generation that will definitely save the world from issues like global warming. Of course only if they themselves don’t die eating Tide Pods first. They continued to say that the show is a modern look at the everlasting struggle of trying to be cooler than one already is. It is the struggle to fit in a while also standing out. The show is all about what one feels when they have to wait in line for some sneakers that they will never get.
The trio says that they are all very excited to be working with Amazon Studios, Serious Business, Pizzaslime, Somwhoodlum, and Titmouse. They couldn’t have had a better team to work on this show.
Fairfax will be co-produced by Amazon Studios along with Serious Business and Titmouse. Hausfater, Buchsbaum, and Riley executive produce along with Peter A. Knight, Jason U. Nadler, and Jon Zimelis. The characters for the show will be designed by Somehoodlum, who will also serve as the consulting producer.
