AHS: 1984 just concluded this Wednesday, and American Horror Story Season 10 has already become the talk of the town. Season 9 of the show was a love letter to the slasher genre of horror movies. The season also covered some of the frightening elements of the era of the 1980s.
The horror anthology series created by Ryan Murphy first aired in 2011. The story of Season 9 revolves around a group of counselors who are new to Camp Redwood, where murders pretty quickly follow them. Most of the characters in the ninth season end up being dead and later become ghosts at the Redwood camp.
Since Season 9 just completed and the dust is starting to settle, fans are already speculating for American Horror Story Season 10, which will be coming up soon. Here’s everything we know about the show so far.
American Horror Story: The Plot
The name of the show is American Horror Story so, there is a limitation of the soil the story can cover for Season 10. Although there are a couple of themes that could take shape, the producer of the show revealed. It could be the aliens or space, and things that seem more interesting than the others.
The fans are quite excited about the Coven things and the aliens. They have always wanted something related to space. It’s still a mystery, although. In the end, all I know is, It will always be about America.
In the American Horror Story Season 10, many of the fan-favorites reuniting. The fans might love that. “We are reaching out to many people, and the ones we have reached have given us a positive response,” the producer said.
Fans have started making theories of what could be the plot of Season 10. One Reddit user suggests that Season 10 could bring urban legends in the picture. The clue to this was that In the episode of November 6, Stacy Donna and Brooke discuss that back in the 70s, all anyone cared about was Bigfoots and aliens. And the 80s became about the psychopath serial killers.
Some other users suggest that Season 10 of the show will focus on suburbia as there were mentions of Mary Kay through the 8th episode.
Cast Returning For The Next Season”
The ninth season of American Horror Story brought back many alums such as Billie Lourd, Emma Roberts, Cody Fern, John Carroll Lynch, and Leslie Grossman. There were new introductions in the season that included Angelica Ross, Gus Kenworthy, Zach Villa, DeRon Horton, and Matthew Morrison.
All of them might come back.
As teased by producer, the original star cast may come back too. Former AHS cast members Sarah Paulson and Even Peters might go back in the tenth installment of the show.
Is American Horror Story Season 10 Renewed?
The American Horror Story Season 10 was announced by FX even before season 8 of the show premiered. Season 10 was renewed in August 2018.
Season 10 may or may not be the last season for the show. In an interview with Deadline, Producer of the show, Ryan Murphy expressed how he wants the show to continue and is in conversations with the network. “We are in the middle of negotiations about what is beyond season 10. We have conversations about the show going 20 seasons,”- Murphy said.
American Horror Story Season 10 Release Date
The network FX has not yet announced the release date, but following the pattern, it is expected that the show will hit the screens in September 2020. The show will premiere on the FX network.
