When the series debuted in 2019, it was not more than a limited miniseries. However, the showrunners had something else in their head. One of them mentioned they wanted to narrate more scary stories, and the executive producer said that they have intentions for many more tales. It seems that all the wishes have turned real. Ignoring the show’s status of miniseries, Nickelodeon officially announced the renewal of Are You Afraid Of The Dark Season 2. Great times! Production & Cast Details!
A media channel reported that there would be a new Midnight Society for the kids, and they will tell various horrifying stories. So, it is doubtful how many of the old cast will return. ACE Entertainment will host the production, and Matt Kaplan will serve as the executive producer. Kaplan once stated that the Midnight Society would remain the center part of the series. The renewal took place just a few days ago. Hence, it will take time to schedule the filming and other vital processes. The number of episodes is also expanded, but the figure is yet to announce officially. Have patience and celebrate that, Are You Afraid of The Dark Season 2 is on the way.
Story So Far: The Scary Tale!
The Midnight Society is a group of teenagers. By every episode, they gather around the campfire into the hidden woods. The narrator starts the scary story with the words “Submitted for the approval of the Midnight Society” along with the title. They throw a handful of dust from their leather pouch into the campfire.
The practice heightens the flames, and the smoke coming out turns eerie white. The titles of these stories are based on superficial phenoms like- ghosts, monsters demons, haunted houses, and libraries. At the end of the episodes, the characters must spill a bucketful of water on the fire and dismiss the meeting by rushing to their place.
