Atypical, created by Robia Rashid, is a show exclusively available on Netflix. The coming-of-age story revolves around Sam, an eighteen-year-old who is suffering from Autism Spectrum. The show focuses on the struggles of the young man and his family as he tries to go along a normal life.

The Story So Far
Atypical season 3 mainly focused on Sam Gardner and the changes in his life. Sam enrolls in a college and is exposed to an entirely different dimension of life. He faces the challenges he has never before and gets opportunities that he hasn’t had ever before. In Atypical season 3, he studies art and gains some new experiences in life. He got closer to her crush, Paige Hardway, who he has been in love with for a very long time. He also encounters some new dimensions of society and many new problems.
These changes in his life have influenced the way he thinks. Owing to these changes, Sam even takes risks that he wouldn’t have taken otherwise. He even went to the extent of missing one of his tests that surely will have consequences. Although this goes on to prove that he also is involved in the new space, he has come into.
What Could Happen In Atypical Season 4
Atypical Season 4, will most probably be all about togetherness and acceptance. By the end of season 3, we could see that the show was somehow focusing on Sam’s parents trying to sort their differences out. Season 4 might take the efforts to a conclusion where Sam’s parents might finally sort their differences and get a happily ever after. Coming to Sam, he will also let go of his hatred for Zahid and become good friends with him.
By the end of season 3, we saw how Elsa’s affair and Casey and Izzie’s first kiss in public. In season 4, we might see couples getting together. Along with that, Casey might finally go to the University of California. Sam will consider his relations with Paige but will fail in his ethics class. Although it is not yet confirmed, the new season will bring in new problems as they solve the older ones, taken Sam on another rollercoaster ride.
Who All Will We See? : The Cast
Keir Gilchrist is for sure returning to lead Atypical season 4 as Sam. Jennifer Jason is also coming back to reprise her role as a supermodern mother, Elsa. Casey, played by Lundy Paine, is coming back to play Sam’s younger sister, and of course, Michael Rapaport is coming back as the dad.
What About Renewal and Release Date?
Yes, Atypical season 4 is coming. When is it coming? No official news on that. Although we’d like to think that the show will come with its fourth installment in the second half of 2020, however, it will be safe if we keep our excitement under control until we get an official update about the show.
