Batwoman will protect Gotham city once again. The CW has officially confirmed Batwoman Season 2. Kate Kane’s battle against wrong will continue. Batwoman is one of the darkest and wickedest series in the Arrowverse since Arrow. Fans are getting excited about the return of Batwoman.
Batwoman is the first series to cast LGBTQ+ actor to star as an LGBTQ+ superhero in the lead role. Batwoman follows Batman’s strategy in fighting crime. Kate is a cousin of Bruce Wayne and almost has the same abilities. Batwoman is an American Sci-fi crime TV series. It is based on the DC comic character of the same name.
Batwoman Season 2: Renewal Announced
The CW channel has officially renewed DC Universe’s Batwoman. It drew 1.86 million viewers on its debut and continued to deliver significant numbers for the network. So, the renewal doesn’t seem to be a surprise for the fans. A lot of fans are happy about the renewal, however, everyone is not pleased with the news. Some fans criticizing Batwoman’s renewal for its low rating.

What Will Be The Plot Of Second Instalment?
The disappearance of Batman filled Gotham city with a lot of criminals. So, the Batwoman comes to take responsibilities of Batman on her shoulders. Whether Alice stays or not, we already know for sure that a lot of more baddies will fight Batwoman in the upcoming season, and many of them will be new to the Arrowverse.
At Comic-Con, Caroline Dries stated that “Because you’ve viewed so many different versions of villains, we’re trying to find a different way in. We are not going to reappear villains from the Arrowverse; we’re using a whole new division of villains and heroes.”
According to the creators, the fans will see a lot of new characters and villains in Batwoman Season 2. The show will represent both the lives of Kate Kane as a normal woman and as the adventurous Batwoman.
Cast Updates For The Sequel
The fans can expect most of the cast members from the first season returning for Batwoman season 2. The returning cast members include Ruby Rose as Kate Kane’s “Batwoman,” Meagan Tandy as Sophie Moore, Nicole Kang as Mary Hamilton, Camrus Johnson as Luke Fox, Elizabeth Anweis as Catherine Hamilton-Kane and Dougray Scott as Jacob Kane. There is no confirmation if Rachel Skarsten is returning in the role of Beth Kane’s “Alice.”
Batwoman Season 2 Release Date
Fans last saw Batwoman on 1 December 2019. The show will resume its first season from 19 January 2020. The official release date of the sequel is yet to be announced by the makers. However, the fans can expect the premiere of Batwoman Season 2 in October 2020.
