Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8: Is It Really Ending? Release Date And More!

NBC

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 will, unfortunately, be the show’s final installment! Fans of all ages were devastated after the news of Brooklyn Nine-Nine ending broke out. The word of the concept of the show changing was already catching the buzz. The show would have completely turned upside down, even if this wasn’t the last season.

The sudden change in direction and concept came after the Black Lives Matter movement and police brutality in America. In a 2020 interview with People’s magazine, Andy Samberg expressed that he ensured the whole Brooklyn Nine-Nine team took the matter seriously. If this change was not enough, the pandemic hit the show to its lowest. Shooting and post-production in the times of lockdowns made its making even more difficult. But now Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 is finally around the corner, and the fans are overwhelmed to watch it.

From Kyra Sedwick’s Madeline Wuntch, who died in season 7, to Craig Robinson as Doug Judy literally, anyone can make an appearance this season.

The most apparent comebacks will be the members we left in season 7. We will be seeing Samberg’s Jake Peralta, Andy Braugher’s Captain Holt, Stephanie Beatriz’s Rosa Diaz, Melissa Fumero as Amy Santiago, Terry Crews as Terry Jeffords, and of course Joe Lo Truglio as the beloved Charles Boyle. As the latest Twitter announcement suggested, the 99th Precinct’s resident members, Hitchcock and Scully, played by Dirk Blocker and Joel McKinnon Miller respectively, will also return for the farewell season.
