City On A Hill is Showtime’s American crime drama series. The inaugural season came in August 2019. And in no less time keeping the demands in mind, Showtime renewed the show for it’s follow up season. City On A Hill Season 2 will hit our TV screens very soon. The series is the best known for its suspense and thrills.
The show is based on the original idea of MacLean and Ben Affleck. Moreover, the series is created by Charlie MacLean. However, the wait for the Second season is near to its end. So dear fans gear up for another round of this roller coaster ride.

The inaugural season started in the early 1990s in Boston. This was the time when local law enforcement agencies emboldened violent criminals. And the one responsible for this change was District Attorney Decourcy Ward played by Aldis Hodge.
Mr Ward comes from Brooklyn to form an alliance with Jackie Rohr played by Kevin Bacon. Kevin plays a corrupt yet venerated FBI officer. Who is deeply invested in maintaining the status quo? Together they work on a case that grows to encompass citywide criminal justice system.
City On A Hill Season 2 Release Date
However, Showtime has not given any specific date for the return of the series. But the inaugural season came in June 2019. Hence, viewers can expect the upcoming season to arrive by June 2020. Never the less a short trailer can even appease the viewers. However, the forthcoming season will also have ten episodes, just like the previous one.
The anticipation of the show is increasing on social media. Hence the makers are planning to release a short insight of season 2. Let’s hope that the second season of City On A Hill hits out tv screens very soon.
