CBS is all set to take the fans of Criminal Minds through an emotional ride with the finale of Season 15. These two episodes will serve as a series finale. The showrunner Erica Messer unveiled that their final challenge would be to introduce a ‘worthy rival’ for the team. The final episodes will be going to have an epic climax. The fans can expect some high-class drama in the closing events of the series.
The official synopsis of the ninth episode of this season, which is titled “Face Off,” reads, “It has been a year since Everett Lynch killed Rossi, and he has also developed some theories, with motivation from his old companion. In this episode, the BAU team will try to hunt down Lynch.”
“And in the End..,” tenth and the final episode of this season will be an emotional rollercoaster ride for the fans. The official synopsis of this episode reads, “After an explosive face to face encounter with the Chameleon aka ‘Everett Lynch,’ Dr. Reid bears a brain injury. While experiencing hallucinations, he is bothered by ghosts from his happenings. The BAU makes a surprising revelation about Lynch that concerns Rossi personally. The complete BAU comes together in the series finale to celebrate Rossi’s retirement.”
