Doctor Who Season 12: Teaser Released
Yesterday served as the day when Doctor Who first debuted to the television screen, 56 years back. And on this auspicious day, BBC released the first trailer for the upcoming season of the series. The trailer featured Jodie Whittaker as the next Thirteenth incarnation of the Doctor, the twelveth since the reboot in 2005 and thirty-eighth overall since the run.
The teaser featured the Paris from 1943, however, occupied by Nazis. Also, the clip brought back the most loved antagonist of Doctor Who, Cyberman. As he enters the teaser, Doctor says that something is coming for her, and she can feel it. Meanwhile, Whittaker’s Doctor Who pulled off the tuxedo really well. She also introduced herself by way of 007’s most famous catchphrase.
Doctor Who Season 12: Cast Details
The upcoming thirteenth season of Doctor Who will feature some guest stars. The list includes Stephen Fry, Sir Lenny Henry, Robert Glenister, and Goran Višnjić. However, Slenister has already featured in an episode of the show 30 years ago. Also, the main cast from the previous season is set to return. Lead by Jodie Whittaker as the Timelord Doctor Who; Season 12 will feature Bradley Walsh as Graham, Tosin Cole as Ryan and Mandip Gill as Yasmin. Recently, they all finished the filming work for the upcoming season of Doctor Who.

Showrunner Discussing Doctor Who Season 12
In a recent roundtable interview, show-runner Chris Chibnall made a massive statement about the next season of Doctor Who. As he stated, the season 12 premiere could be one of the biggest the show has ever done. Chibnall also added that it is the most significant episode they’ve done, might be the biggest episode the show has done yet.
Not just this, he also teased about the upcoming installment. He made stress on the point that the show will continue the ongoing journey with the Thirteenth Doctor. According to him, “We want to do big action-packed, emotional, scary, funny stories, and I think what we want to go up a level from last year.”
Moreover, news came that the star is already working on the thirteenth season of Doctor Who. This means the show will return for Season 13 too.
Doctor Who Season 12: Release Date
As the teaser revealed, the upcoming season of Doctor Who will release in early 2020. However, they did not announce the official release date for Doctor Who Season 12.
