Doom Patrol Season 3 will see the inflow of new allies and villains as the ghostly Dead Boy Detective Agency and the evil Sisterhood of Dada make their debut. The series has officially cast the supervillain group and friendly ghost detectives who would appear throughout the third season. However, the Doom Patrol team would learn from their past mistakes to deal with these new and dangerous villains. But from time to time, they would be helped by their new allies.
DC’s Doom Patrol debuted back in February 2019 on DC Universe. However, HBO Max soon scooped the series after DC Universe changed its plan. It follows a group of superheroes who accidentally received their powers through tragic circumstances. But after society shunned them, the Chief, a medical doctor, gave them a place to live, so they can protect the world from unknown threats.
Doom Patrol Season 3: Major Supervillains Addition!
Recently DC broke the news that the new episodes will introduce The Vampire Diaries actor Micah Joe Parker as Malcolm. He will play a caring and polite soul who would stay invisible instead of facing the cruel world. Also, Wynn Everett has signed a deal to play an alluring and poetic doubtful terrorist, Shelley Byron aka The Fog. Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger alum Miles Mussenden will appear as Lloyd Jefferson aka Frenzy. He will play a maimed and tattooed mask sculptor who can cause extreme destruction.
Besides, Anita Kalathara confirmed to play Holly McKenzie aka Sleepwalk, a light-hearted soul who should never wake from her sleep. Gina Hiraizumi as Sachiko aka Quiz, a cryptic germaphobe with some amazing powers. Collectively they’ll form a group called the Sisterhood of Dada. Originally known as Brotherhood of Dada in comics and will recur during the third season.
The Dead Boy Detective Agency Cast
Besides these new faces, there are plenty of casts who will recur in the upcoming season. Tolkien star Ty Tennant has also confirmed to join as the guest-star as Edwin Payne. He is an innocent teenager who, after dying in 1916, spent his 80 years in hell for a clerical error. Next to him, Game Of Thrones alum Sebastian Croft will appear as a ghost named Charles Rowland. Though he tried to stay happy, he is still haunted by his death in 1989.
Alongside them, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back star Madalyn Horcher will play Crystal Palace. She will play a sarcastic teenager and psychic medium whom both Charles and Edwin rescued through exorcism. Thus, together they all formed the Dead Boy Detective Agency to help people with paranormal activities.
Who Will Return?
Apart from the new allies and villains, the core members of Doom Patrol will also return. These include April Bowlby as Rita Farr aka Elasti-Woman and Diane Guerrero as Kay Challis aka Crazy Jane. Jovian Wade as Victor Stone aka Cyborg, will also return. Besides, Matt Bomer and Matthew Zuk both will appear as Larry Trainor aka Negative Man. Meanwhile, Brendan Fraser and Riley Shanahan both will play Cliff Steele aka Robotman. Timothy Dalton, the creator of Doom Patrol, has later seen as Niles Caulder aka The Cheif, might return.
