The popular streamer was extremely confident about the second season of Elite that it took no time to renew it. Netflix announced the news a week before Season 2 went online on September 6, 2019. Fans were surprised to have an early renewal on August 29, 2019.
As of now, the cast and crew are yet to begin filming for Elite Season 3. However, the early renewal hints that the productions won’t take long to commence. After the crazy Season 2 finale, fans are demanding the makers to start shooting as soon as possible. Some of such social media posts are incredibly hilarious. Elite Season 3: Who Will Return?

[Season 2 Spoilers Ahead]
Show creators Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona shocked us all with the crazy Season 2 finale. Viewers were expecting it to end almost similar to the way Season 1 did. Hence, besides Marina, almost all other characters will be back to continue the stories. The list includes Lu (Danna Paola), Carla (Ester Expósito), Polo (Álvaro Rico), and Omar (Omar Ayuso). Whereas, Ander (Arón Piper), Guzmán (Miguel Bernardeau) and Nadia (Mina El Hammani) will also be present.
On the other hand, all the new Season 2 character will also return to play their parts. Cayetana (Georgina Amoros), Rebeca (Claudia Salas), and Valerio (Jorge Lopez) will be back. Moreover, Cayetana, in particular, may have much more valuable presence due to her involvement with Polo.

What Will Happen Next?

Marina’s murder pretty much influenced the plot of Season 2 as well. Nonetheless, it will remain to affect the Las Encinas teens in Elite Season 3 as well. In the finale of the second installment, everyone finally found out that Polo is the murderer they were looking for. The plot may continue to focus on the deaths and the school’s reaction to the revelations.
The students at the elite school would seek for justice in the future while Guzmán may lead the movement. He and Samuel will have deeper connections to the same as they are closely attached to both Marina and Polo. On the other hand, we have a feeling that Elite Season 3 may have a lot more drama than ever before. Season 2 was much superior to the debut installment. Hence, we hope that the third one follows the arc as well.

When Will Elite Season 3 Be Back On Netflix?

The third season of Netflix’s pop show is yet to go into productions. Moreover, it’s probably too early to demand a release date now. The previous two installments debuted nearly the same time of the year. The first one hit the screens in October 2018, while the second returned in September 2019. Hence, chances suggest that Season 3 may follow the pattern and premiere sometime in September or October 2020.
