Get Even Season 2: The first season of ‘Get Even’ just released on Netflix, and fans are already hungry for more. Created by Holly Philips, the show is a BBC program which later on also released on Netflix. The 10-episode show tells the story of four teenage girls, Bree, Kitty, Margot, and Olivia, who are trying to make it through their high-school years. Their group is collectively called DGM- Don’t Get Mad. Things start going south for the group when they are framed after one of the school bullies- Ronny, is found murdered. The show has been received very well among the audience, and everyone wants to know what’s next. Here is all we know about ‘Get Even Season 2.’
Is The Show Renewed?
The first season of ‘Get Even’ originally released on BBC in February 2020. It later on released on Netflix in July. After the show released, it was able to bag some nice viewership and has already made a big fanbase. Fans are hence looking forward to Get Even Season 2. Since the show just released, it will be some time before the show gets a second season. Usually, the streaming giant takes some time before they renew the show. So, it will be sometime before we get some news about it.
Get Even Season 2: What’s Coming Up Next?
Talking about the plot for Get Even Season 2, we don’t really know any solid details. However, the first season of the show is based on the novel series- ‘Don’t Get Mad’ by Gretchen McNeil. The first season took on the events of the first book. We can now assume that the second season would be a follow-up story. It would follow the second book from the series named- Get Dirty. In this book, the DGM group will face bigger challenges when they start getting tormented by an anonymous and a deadly threat.
From the first season, one big loose end is there, which could be explored in the second season. That would be the Logan and the Margot plot. By the end of the first season, Logan tells Margot that his parents are involved in a secret society. This society had vowed to take down DGM. We can expect to Get Even Season 2 to explore more about the society. It would also focus on the lives of all the four main characters. We will keep an eye and let you know if we know about the plot of the upcoming season.
Who Will Be There? The Cast
The show stars quite a diverse set of faces, including Kim Adis, Bethany Antonia, Mia McKenna-Bruce, and Jessica Alexander as Kitty, Margot, Bree, and Olivia respectively. Along with them, the show also sees Joe Ashman, who plays the role of Rex. Issac Rouse, who plays John. Razan Nassar, who plays Amber, Chris J Gordon, as Donte, Dylan Brady as Ed, and Danny Griffin as Shane. We can expect all of them to come back.
While we also saw Joe Flynn and Emily Carey in the first season as Ronny and Mika, these two characters died and hence might not return. However, it is possible that these two could come back into the flashbacks. We might also get to see Kit Clarke, but his screentime will indeed be smaller as he was sentenced to jail by the end of the first season. Not just that, we might get to see new cast joining the show as the scope gets wider.
The show just released, and we can say that the streaming platforms will at least take a year before they bring us Get Even Season 2.
