Greenleaf Season 4 is all set to feature more scandals. Well, there were no doubts about the renewal of the show. Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) renewed the series for another go. The series got renewed on 19th September 2018. The renewal happened midway through the Season 3 of the show. This shows the confidence of the creators in the series.

The series follows the Greenleaf family that operates a Megachurch. This seems to be a kind and caring family. However, the truth is that there exist scandalous secrets and lies. Sibling rivalry, greed, and infidelity are amidst the issues that this family faces. The series gets a twist when a family member returns home after a 20-year absence and uncovers these secrets.
How The Third Season of Greenleaf Performed?
Well, the show gets mix reviews. Although, it is one of the most anticipated shows of the Network. Compared to Season 2, the show has gained a slightly less viewership for Season 3. The prior season gathered around 1.3 million viewers, while Season 2 had about 1.413 million viewers.
Although there is a slight drop in the viewership, Erik Logan, the president of OWN is positive about the series. Logan said that Greenleaf is a cornerstone of our scripted programming slate and draws in millions of watchers per week. He added that the show has its unique plot and compelling characters. Greenleaf Season 4: Storyline
Season 3 of Greenleaf set an exciting tone for the upcoming season. In prior season, we saw all the chaotic forces that Grace’s (Merle Dandridge) return to Memphis unleashed loom to destroy not just the church, but her family too. Season 4 will feature further consequences of that.
The Greenleaf house is on fire with the shocking discovery of Bishop’s (Keith David) adulteries with Lady Mae’s (Lynn Whitfield) sister. Moreover, vibrations from his current petting with that sly Jezebel, Rochelle Cross (LeToya Luckett) will lead to more complex scenarios in Season 4.
Who Will Feature In Greenleaf Season 4?
Soul legend Patti LaBelle (Maxine Patterson), Rick Fox (Darius Nash), and Homeland’s Beau Bridges are promoted as series regulars for Greenleaf Season 4.
Keith David will pursue his role of Bishop James and Lynn Whitfield as Lady Mae. Along with them Deborah Joy Winans as Charity, the youngest member of the family, Kim Hawthorne as Kerissa Greenleaf, LeToya Luckett as Rochelle Cross, and Lamman Rucker as Jacob Greenleaf will also feature in the season 4.

Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) has yet not revealed any premiere date for Greenleaf Season 4. However, according to speculations, Season 4 will air in spring 2019.
