Season 2 of much loved Jack Ryan just released this November, and it seems like fans are not done with it yet. Fans can sigh in relief as Jack Ryan season 3 is all confirmed. Series main lead John Krasinksi took Instagram to treat the fans with this news.
The series Jack Ryan, which first aired back in 2018, is an American political thriller spy web series. Fans and critics widely loved the show.
The second installment of the show released in November of 2019 exclusively on Amazon Prime, and the third installment will come soon too.

Jack Ryan Season 3: The Story So Far So Far?
The latest and the second season of Jack Ryan season 2 brought Ryan and James together all over again. Ryan flew out to Venezuela to find out about the illegal consignment of weapons into the place. However, James started in Russia and ended up in South America, where he meets his former partner.
The duo almost immediately found out that the missions that seemed separate are actually linked. Following that, start working jointly.
Later in the series, Tom Wlaschiha attempts to drown Jack while James is taken into hostage. However, both of them escape from there safe and alive.
What Could Be The Plot For Season 3?
The way Jack Ryan Season 3 ended in Venezuela, several possibilities are now wide open. Season 1 of the show entertained the story where Ryan joins Greer in Moscow. The season was adapted on Tom Clancy’s very famous story- The Hunt For Red October.
However, Season 2 of the show took a completely different path. The CIA heroes headed South America in the second installment. Jack Ryan season 2 concluded with Jack uncovering the truth of corruption in the U.S. Senate. This event disturbed Ryan, although this did not hint towards the future of Jack Ryan Season 3.
There are no solid hints about the show’s next installment. But we expect that season 3 might continue in South America and focus on Jack dealing with severe issues.
There is a switch in the creative team of the show. This might affect the storyline.
Jack Ryan Season 3: The Cast
We know for sure that John Krasinksi will continue playing Ryan and that the only confirmed cast as of now.
“It has been a hell of a run, but it is over,” Greer said to Jack in the second season. “Time to move on, he added.
It does seem like Greer is done with all the field adventures in the show. He might join the desk duty. He anyways has earned a nice spot by now.
If Greer takes up the administrative roles, there will be an open spot for a field partner for Ryan. That means there might be a cast addition in the upcoming installment.
One Character who was missing from the show in season 2 was Dr. Cathy Mueller, played by Abbie Cornish. It is possible that she might come back in season 3. Her story doesn’t feel complete, and there are a lot of questions around her story.
With everyone we may or may not get to see, one person we won’t for sure is the showrunner Carlton Cuse. He worked on both Jack Ryan season 1 and 2 alongside Graham Roland. He will still be the executive producer of the show but is signing off as the showrunner.
Paul Scheuring, who is well known for creating Prison Break, is stepping into Cuse’s shoes. David Scarpa, who was first in the run to join the crew, bowed out.
When Is Jack Ryan Season 3 Releasing?
The filming of the show hasn’t started yet. There is no official release date of the show announced either. However, we can assume that the show might take 15 months just like it’s previous seasons and will release in 2021.
